Lisa Lewis

Physiotherapist

MPT, BSc.

"You spin my head right round."

Specialties: Vestibular Rehabilitation, Orthopaedics, Pediatric Physiotherapy

Hi, I’m Lisa! While I was born in Edmonton, I grew up in Winnipeg, MB and recently moved back after living in the Okanagan for the last few years. I graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, prior to earning my Master of Physical Therapy in 2017.

Since graduation, I have been an avid learner and have participated in several post-secondary courses. I earned my acupuncture certification through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute in 2018 and completed courses in vestibular rehabilitation, concussion management and dizziness in relation to the cervical spine. I am currently finishing my Masters in Advanced Health Care Practice in Comprehensive Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy through Western University, which really places emphasis on the clinical reasoning, assessment and treatment of complex orthopaedic conditions.

I have a special interest in treating orthopaedics, vestibular dysfunction and paediatrics. I use an active approach to treatment and have a passion for injury prevention and manual therapy. I strongly believe that physiotherapy needs to be patient centered and look to give you the tools to get back to your daily activities.

In my spare time I am a club level volleyball coach (fun fact: I played volleyball for Michigan Tech University) and enjoy spin classes and yoga. My husband and I are thrilled to be back in Alberta and explore all this beautiful province has to offer!
